Two guiding commitments that shape everything we do — from Sunday worship to everyday community care.

Rooted in Faith,
Engaged in Community

The Whitbourne Pastoral Charge exists to proclaim the love of God in Jesus Christ, to nurture a community of faith and compassion, and to respond with care to the needs of all people in Trinity Bay South and beyond. We welcome everyone to experience grace, belonging, and meaningful service.

A Living Legacy
in Trinity Bay South

Whitbourne Pastoral Charge is a United Church of Canada congregation serving the communities of Angels Cove, Norman's Cove, and the surrounding area of Trinity Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Tracing its roots back to the earliest Methodist and Congregationalist settlers of Newfoundland, our Charge has weathered the seasons of history — fishery, confederation, and change — while remaining a steadfast source of spiritual community and pastoral care.

Today, we carry that same spirit forward: welcoming families, nurturing youth, honouring our elders, and serving our neighbours with open hands and open hearts.
